About O’Neil Henry
(of O’Neil Henry Productions? Maybe you’ve heard of it.)
O’Neil Henry is a Los Angeles–based filmmaker, sound mixer, and post-production specialist, working in narrative, documentary, music, and custom-branded content.
Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, he studied Film & Television at Boston University, where he was mentored in post- and production sound and produced several award-winning independent projects. Since graduating in 2021, he has steadily grown into a multidisciplinary filmmaker capable of working in virtually any filmmaking capacity.
Building on that foundation, O’Neil Henry has developed a reputation for his versatility, often stepping into hybrid roles that bridge multiple departments. He’s contributed to a wide range of projects: social campaigns, short films, web series, and theatrically released films.
Recent credits include supporting editorial and delivery on Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, as well as award-winning writing, producing, and sound roles on independent projects such as The Way You Smile, Ivory, and Fare Play.
“Regardless of my role, I have one purpose: to tell great stories. I’ve been fortunate to have the experience of working with a number of fantastic collaborators that have helped me sharpen my skills and grow as an artist. I’m still learning, growing, and crafting my vision for what it means to be a storyteller in this crazy little town.”
I’d love to hear it.
